November 2018 Newsletter
Before the 2018-2019 school year began, the faculty, staff and I worked to outline what we refer to as the essential agreements for working at Bentonville Christian Academy. We spent time in discussion about what we desire as the necessary attitude, character, and actions to work with our colleagues as well as the families we serve. After this discussion exercise, we came up with the following six agreements:
- I will do what is in the best interest of children.
- I will filter my actions through God’s word.
- I will be fully engaged.
- If I wonder, I will ask.
- I will always assume and demonstrate good intent.
- I will be responsible for change.
There is value in knowing the intentional thought and effort the faculty and staff put into their career at BCA. We have set the expectations of professionalism high, and it is evident as you walk through the halls of our school. Your children are in excellent care as we strive to provide not only an excellent academic experience, but also lay a solid spiritual foundation that will guide them for their future.
